The Higher the Horse, the Farther the Fall
The temptation to criticize someone else's weaknesses can be alluring. Our culture teaches us to feel better about ourselves when we can point out the faults of others. But are you perfect? Have you nothing to criticize? I wonder if you turned that judgemental eye on yourself how would you fair?

There is an exercise that some people go through in therapy: Write a person's name at the top of a piece of paper. List all the things you hate about that person. Now replace that person's name with your own. You usually criticize that which you can't stand about yourself.
